You've probably been there. You've got out your payment card, entered your PIN and then get an error message. Or you're about to pay online and have to rush around frantically trying to find your card reader. Tired of these situations? Well, you're not alone. It's no surprise to hear then that mobile payments are becoming increasingly popular. KBC Brussels has responded to this trend and now offers three payment apps that allow you to make no-fuss payments with your smartphone. It's so easy you'll be able to leave your bank card at home from now on!

Check them out here:

  • MobilePay: a KBC Brussels Mobile function that allows you to pay in the high street and in online stores by scanning a QR code. Money can also be transferred between friends in a flash.
  • Payconiq: an app for making payments between friends and at the local retailer while building up loyalty points with Joyn at the same time. It’s quick and easy to use.
  • Google Pay: hold you smartphone close to the payment terminal to pay quickly and securely, without the need for cash, bank cards or having to go online.
