MyHome is only accessible if you are over 18 and have activated the ‘Extra convenience’ option in your settings. If you have any questions about this, you can always ask Kate or contact KBC Brussels Live.
To get started with MyHome, you first have to answer a few questions, such as whether you own or rent where you live, whether you have renovation plans, and so on. MyHome is then tailored to your situation based on your answers.
Not at the moment, but we are working on it.
We will send you notifications to share interesting information with you about the home, renovating and green energy.

Before you get started with MyHome, you need to answer a few questions. At this stage, you first check that we have the correct address of your property. You can change it or add an additional property. If you haven’t done this, you can always edit the details of your house or flat at the top of the overview screen.
They are taken from our property database. Some properties may be linked to you through current and/or past loans.
If you neither own nor rent your property, you can indicate that you live with someone else. The home that you live in is not automatically added to MyHome in this situation.
If you don't live in a house or flat, choose what best suits your living situation. This choice will have little impact on your MyHome overview.
Tap the ‘plus’ sign above ‘Add property’ in MyHome. You are then given the option to add an additional property.
If you own a number of properties, you can add each one separately. For each property, you will receive a separate overview in MyHome.
The maximum number of Belgian properties you can add is 15.
At present, you can only add properties located in Belgium.
Check if you saved your property details properly and try again if necessary. If it still doesn’t work, ask Kate or contact KBC Brussels Live. If you chose the option ‘I live there with someone else’, your property will not be added to MyHome.
We calculate your rating based on the information you provide about your property. We take into account your insulation, windows, heating and/or cooling systems, energy installations (solar panels, home battery) and your EPC rating (‘label’).
No, the rating in KBC Brussels Mobile is an estimate of the energy efficiency of your home and is separate from your official EPC rating.

To work out the budget for your home, we need information about a few things from you:
- Your income
- Your expenditure
- How much of your own money you are putting in
This information is only used to find relevant properties that fit your budget. It is not used for any other purposes.
You can recalculate your budget by adjusting your details to your new situation.
Before we grant a loan, we need to carry out a few checks. In certain cases, you may be able to borrow less than the amount the budget calculator has projected.
The National Bank of Belgium (NBB) has a few rules that apply for all Belgian banks in order to keep financial risks as low as possible. That’s why we ask you to pay at least 10% of the purchase price yourself. In specific cases, you can borrow the full amount. You can find out more about this arrangement at your bank branch.
- Maximum loan amount: 90% of the purchase price. This means that if you buy a home for 300 000 euros, you can borrow a maximum of 270 000 as standard. You have to pay the remaining 30 000 euros yourself. Some customers can borrow 100% of the purchase price. You can find out more about this arrangement at your bank branch.
- Minimum own financial input: 10% of the purchase price plus legal fees (deed of purchase, registration duties, collateral, loan origination fee, etc.).
Remember, borrowing money also costs money.
