2. Logging in and signing using your debit card and card reader

To do this, you need your KBC Brussels Debit Card and a KBC Brussels Card Reader equipped with a scan facility. You can log in by scanning the barcode. If you don't want to log in using the barcode, you'll need to generate an 8-digit start code instead on your card reader to do it. Watch the film clip on how to log in.

Click or tap your name or photo at the bottom left of the screen, select 'Log out' and then 'Log out' in the pop-up window. KBC Brussels Touch logs you out automatically if you're inactive for five minutes thanks to a built-in security feature.

If your PIN doesn't work anymore when you try to log in to KBC Brussels Touch on your tablet, tap the 'Remove user' button at the top right of the log-in screen and confirm using the 'trash can' icon.

Next, tap ‘New user’ and follow the steps on the screen. To do this, you need to use your debit card and a KBC Brussels Card Reader equipped with a scan facility just once. If you don't have this type of card reader, be sure to request one.

All you have to do now is set your new PIN, confirm twice and you're ready to go!

Yes, you can. Select the user you want to log in with and tap 'Options' at the top right of the screen. You will then see the 'Log in using a barcode' option. You can also decide whether you want to log in using either your card reader or your PIN.

No, you can't. You can only log in on these devices using your KBC Brussels Debit Card and KBC Brussels Card Reader.

Log in, tap 'Profile' at the upper right of the screen and then 'Change' beside the five dots. If you enter your old PIN first, you can then set a new one.

There's no need to worry, you can easily set a new one. Have your KBC Brussels Debit Card and KBC Brussels Card Reader to hand and tap 'Options' in the log-in screen. When you select ‘Log in using PIN', you will see 'Forgotten PIN' at the top right. Tap it and follow the steps on the screen.

We can notify you by e-mail if there's a message for you. That way you never miss anything important from us. Just make sure your e-mail address has been added to KBC Brussels Touch.

You can do that as follows:

1. Tap or click 'Profile' at the top right of your screen then 'Client details'
2. Enter your e-mail address
3. Sign using your PIN

The navigation bar at the left-hand side of the screen has a ‘Contact’ icon where all your messages are kept. A number attached to this icon means that you have one or more new messages.

Select 'Payments' in the left-side navigation bar and then tap the credit card or prepaid card for which something is to be changed. This opens the ‘Credit details’ tab where you can change various settings.

KBC Brussels Touch is free of charge for all KBC Brussels clients. Even if you don't have an account in your name, but – for instance – hold a power of attorney over an account at KBC Brussels, you can use KBC Brussels Touch on your PC and tablet, as well as the KBC Brussels Mobile app on your smartphone, for free.

KBC Brussels Touch is locked when you enter the wrong PIN three times in a row on your tablet. However, you can still use KBC Brussels Touch on your PC or laptop. If you want to use KBC Brussels Touch again on your tablet, you'll need to set a new PIN.

Check whether or not your computer or tablet still meets the correct system requirements. It could also be caused by a slow or poor Internet connection. If there are technical problems with KBC Brussels Touch, you will be told about them on Twitter and the homepage of KBC Brussels's website.

We extend the options for KBC Brussels Touch and carry out optimisations about five times a year. If you use KBC Brussels Touch on your tablet, you need to run an update or it happens automatically, depending on your tablet's settings.

Is your card reader faulty or are the batteries flat? Bring your old card reader back to your branch, you can always exchange it for a new one there.
