Changing your daily transfer limit
This step-by-step guide shows you how to adjust the daily limit for your transfers in KBC Brussels Mobile. This limit determines the maximum amount of money you can transfer online each day to other accounts.
Follow the step-by-step guide
There are two ways to adjust the daily limit for your transfers. You can either ask Kate at the top of the screen or change it in KBC Brussels Mobile’s settings. In this guide, we show you how to do it the second way.
Open the KBC Brussels Mobile app on your smartphone
Tap ‘Log in’ at the bottom of the screen and log in using facial recognition, your fingerprint or PIN
Tap the settings cogwheel at the top left of the screen, scroll down to ‘Payments’ and tap ‘Limits’
Tap the blue ‘Change daily limit’ button under ‘Your transfer limits’
Tap ‘For a limited time’. If you don't want to set an end date, tap ‘For unlimited time’ , ‘Select an amount’ and choose your new limit from the list. Then go straight to Step 8.
Go to ‘Temporary daily limit’, tap ‘Select an amount’ and choose your new limit from the list
Go to ‘Valid for’, tap ‘1 day’ and select a period from the list
Tap the blue ‘Sign’ button, choose how you want to sign and authorise the new limit by following the on-screen instructions
If you lower your limit, you’ll see a screen confirming your new limit (if you increase it, you’ll see why you have to wait four hours until the increase takes effect)
