1. What if I forget my secret code?
  • Use you bank card and car reader to set a new one under 'Settings' in the app's left-hand menu.

  • If you’re the sole administrator and don’t have a KBC Brussels Debit Card and card reader, uninstall the app and ask your branch for a new user ID and QR activation code. When you receive them, activate the app again.
  • If you’re a user or if there are several administrators and you don’t have a KBC Brussels Debit Card and card reader, ask the administrator to re-activate KBC Brussels Business in the Business Dashboard.

How do you adjust this in the Business Dashboard?

  • Go to ‘Settings’, then ‘Users’ and ‘Manage users’, and select the name of the user

    2. How do I change my secret code?

    You can change it under 'Settings' in the app's left-hand menu.

    3. I've entered the wrong code three times and now the app´s locked. What should I do now?

    Don't worry. Be sure not to delete KBC Brussels Business from your phone. You can solve the problem in a number of ways:

    • Use you bank card and car reader  to set a new secret code under 'Settings' in the app's left-hand menu.
    • If you use our KBC Brussels Mobile app on the same phone, you don't even need your bank card for this. Your phone will detect that you're using KBC Brussels Mobile and guide you in activating KBC Brussels Business  (using your 5-digit KBC Brussels Mobile PIN). 
    • If you’re the sole administrator and don’t have a KBC Brussels Debit Card and card reader, uninstall the app and ask your branch for a new user ID and QR activation code. When you receive them, activate the app again.
    • If you’re a user or if there are several administrators and you don’t have a KBC Brussels Debit Card and card reader, ask the administrator to re-activate KBC Brussels Business in the Business Dashboard.

      4. The smartphone I use KBC Brussels Business on has been stolen or lost. What should I do now?

      Call 016 432 000 at any time to block your KBC Brussels Business account. As soon as you have a new smartphone, you can easily reinstall KBC Brussels Business.

      • Use you bank card and car reader to install the app again.
      • If you use our KBC Brussels Mobile app on the same phone, you don't even need your bank card for this. Your phone will detect that you're using KBC Brussels Mobile and guide you in activating KBC Brussels Business  (using your 5-digit KBC Brussels Mobile PIN).

      5. I don´t see anywhere to log out. How do I close the app?

      You do this the same way as you do for other apps on your phone (this differs, depending on whether you have an iPhone or an Android phone).
      The app deactivates after 20 minutes of not using it. If you want to use it again, you need to re-enter your secret code.

      6. Can I uninstall KBC Brussels Business from my smartphone after installing it?

      No, you don't need to uninstall it.

      7. I've mistakenly deleted KBC Brussels Business from my phone. What should I do now?

      Don't worry. Just install the app again in one of the following ways:

        8. Can I use my user ID and QR activation code multiple times?

        No, you can’t. For security reasons, both the user ID and the QR activation code can be used just once to activate the app.

        9. Does my smartphone have to meet minimum requirements before I can use KBC Brussels Business?.

        10. I can´t manage to scan the QR activation code on the login screen. Is there a problem with my phone?

        With certain models of smartphones, it's best if you scan the QR code from a little further away.
        Vary the distance between your smartphone camera and the QR activation code to get the camera to focus on the QR code.

        11. Can I activate my KBC Brussels Business user profile using a different smartphone from the one I used before?

        Yes, you can. Just install the app on the other smartphone. Remember that a user can only ever be active on one smartphone. Once your KBC Brussels Business user profile is active on the new smartphone, you'll no longer be able to log in on the old smartphone.

          12. Does KBC Brussels Business let me access KBC Brussels Business Dashboard in the latest Edge web browser for Windows?

          If you've got a computer with Edge, you'll notice that KBC Brussels Business Dashboard doesn't work when you log in using the card reader and your %%product.businesskaart%% It does work when you log in using KBC Brussels Business.

           

          13. Can I carry out e-government transactions when using KBC Brussels Business?

          No. If you log in to the KBC Brussels Business Dashboard using KBC Brussels Business, you cannot carry out any e-government transactions. You'll need to log in directly to the Belgian federal finance department (FOD/FIN) using either your eID card, itsme or Isabel or via an external third party.
