What is Billit?

Billit is an online invoicing platform in KBC Brussels Mobile and KBC Brussels Touch that takes away the hassle of preparing, receiving, tracking and sending invoices and quotes. It also lets you automatically generate order and delivery forms for a quote or invoice. How convenient is that?

Another added advantage is that Billit can be easily integrated into existing accounting systems. That keeps you happy ... and your accountant too!

Interested in one year’s free invoicing with Billit? Here’s how it works:

Like the sound of trying out Billit at no charge* for a year courtesy of KBC Brussels? All you have to do is enter into a new Billit contract via KBC Brussels Mobile or KBC Brussels Touch and meet a number of conditions. For example, you must hold a business account with KBC Brussels and be authorised to set up a connection to Billit in your capacity as the account holder, legal representative of the company or someone holding a power of attorney for account access. In addition, your company number must be registered in KBC Brussels's systems.

Once you activate the link, you can process 6 000 invoices over a period of 12 months. After the year’s free subscription, you pay the standard price for the chosen Billit module.

The terms and conditions at a glance:

  • You enter into a new Billit contract via KBC Brussels Mobile or KBC Brussels Touch (the offer is not valid for existing contracts or contracts not taken out via KBC Brussels Mobile or KBC Brussels Touch)
  • You hold a business account with KBC Brussels
  • You have appropriate authority to set up the connection (account holder, legal representative or person holding a power of attorney for account access)
  • Your company number is registered in KBC Brussels’s systems
  • The CODA link for Billit must have already been activated by a legal representative
  • You can receive 500 invoices a month for 12 months (maximum of 6 000 a year)
  • Switching to another Billit licence within those 12 months will result in the benefit ending with immediate effect

* The free, one-year subscription has an actual cash value of 25 euros per month (excluding VAT). This time-limited offer is only valid for new contracts agreed via KBC Brussels. If you process more than 6 000 documents during the free year included in the offer or switch to another module, additional charges will apply. The rates for additional usage or modules can be found on Billit's website.

Invoicing with Billit

E-invoicing has been mandatory since the start of 2026

Since January 2026, all Belgian VAT-registered businesses must use Peppol to send and receive their Belgian B2B invoices electronically. Peppol is the European network for securely sending and receiving electronic documents.

Billit is an approved Peppol access point. All it takes is a few clicks to arrange your Peppol registration.

What are the benefits of having Billit?

Billit is a Peppol Access Point and gives you access to the Peppol network, thus enabling you to be fully compliant with the legal requirement for intercompany e-invoicing.

If you’re a new user, Billit will automatically link your company once you complete the following verification steps:

  • Confirm your e-mail address
  • Confirm your identity using itsme® or eID

Once verification is complete, your company will be registered on Peppol the next business day.

If you’re already using Billit, you can easily check your link to the Peppol network on the Billitplatform:

Go to ‘My company’ and then the ‘E-invoicing’ tab

You’ll see:

  • The type of identification (such as VAT or CBE)
  • The specific identification number
  • The e-mail address linked to your Peppol profile
  • The current status of your registration

You can track the status under ‘Actions’. You have two options:

  • Select ‘Register on Peppol’ to register your company
  • Select ‘Unregister from Peppol’ to cancel your registration

In addition, your Billit dashboard shows you whether there are any steps still required to complete your profile. This means you’re always fully informed about your status and you can easily meet the legal requirements for e-invoicing through Peppol.

When you link Billit to KBC Brussels Mobile or KBC Brussels Touch, you get a real-time overview of your invoicing without having to log in to the Billit platform.

What are the benefits?

  • Concise overview of invoices to be collected and paid without logging in to Billit.
  • Instant payment of outstanding invoices via the app.
  • Insight into invoice details and payment tracking.
  • Send reminders for outstanding invoices (including registered delivery).
  • Automatic notifications from Kate in KBC Brussels Mobile about unpaid customer invoices.

This integration makes your invoice management faster, clearer and more efficient – all without leaving your familiar banking environment.

Your incoming and outgoing invoices are placed in a handy overview that includes payments not yet received or made, giving you an at-a-glance idea of your financial situation.

A click is all it takes to see which invoices have still to be paid. It couldn’t be easier! Alert your customers right away with a reminder or pay any outstanding invoice of your own directly from KBC Brussels Touch.

If it looks like a customer might be late in making payment, you'll be automatically alerted. You can then send a reminder to the customer in question right from the app.

If you have to pay an invoice yourself, a message will be sent to your smartphone warning you about it in good time. You can also quickly see from your KBC Brussels Touch or KBC Brussels Mobile overview which payments you still need to make.

In Belgium, you get tax relief if you opt for e-invoicing. You can claim a 120% deduction of the implementation and usage costs from your taxable profit between 2024 and 2027. This arrangement also applies to the subscription to Billit.

The handy remittance folder lets you pay up to 30 invoices in one go, saving you time and reducing the risk of making a mistake when entering your payment details. If your customer pays in cash, you can mark the invoice as ‘Paid'.

What does it cost?

Billit can be connected with KBC Brussels Touch or KBC Brussels Mobile for free. Not only that, you can now try out the expanded version of Billit at no charge for one year. After this period expires, you can either take out a subscription or continue with the free licence.

A subscription to Billit can start from as little as 7.5 euros a month (excluding VAT), with the definitive cost depending on the number of invoices you process each month. If you don't have a subscription, you will not be able to see your outgoing invoices.

What do businesspeople say about Billit?

The main benefit to having Billit is the huge amount of time you save. I've now got more control over my payments and a better view of my document flows. Billit is also really affordable and you quickly recoup what you've spent in the time that's freed up.
