Install Internet Explorer 11
Online banking needs to be fully secure, so you'll only be able to log in with Internet Explorer 11 as of 24 October. Install this version as soon as you can on your computer to ensure you can continue to bank online with us after that date.
How do I check which version of Internet Explorer I'm using?
Click or tap the cogwheel icon at the top right of Internet Explorer to open the Tools menu (or open 'Help' from the main menu bar), then select ‘About Internet Explorer’.
How do I get the latest version?
In the ‘About Internet Explorer’ window that appears, choose ‘Install new versions automatically'.
If you want to get the new version faster, go to the Windows website and download Internet Explorer 11.
Internet Explorer 11 only works on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.
How do I check which version of Windows I'm using?
Click or tap the Windows Start button and enter ‘winver’ in the search box at the bottom. Select the search result that appears at the top of the Start menu window to open a window showing which version of Windows you have on your computer.
What if I work for a large organisation and can't update or install programs myself?
Ask your IT administrator to install Internet Explorer 11 and, if necessary, a more recent version of Windows for you.
