Frequently asked questions

The home screen has tiles showing your accounts. If you swipe the tiles all the way to the left, you’ll see the ‘Edit favourites’ button. Tap the button and select the accounts you want to have displayed when you log in.

All it takes is a few taps:

  1. Log in
  2. Tap ‘My KBC’
  3. Tap the tile for the account whose name and photo you want to change
  4. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner
  5. Tap ‘Settings’
  6. Tap ‘Change name and photo’

Log in and tap ‘My KBC’.
When you’ve received a new message, a red dot will appear on ‘My KBC’. Tap ‘My KBC’ > ‘New message’ to read your message.

To find your documents in ‘My KBC’, scroll all the way down.

There are several ways to submit a claim:

Option 1
Tap the Kate icon in the top-right corner. Say or type that you want to file a claim. Kate will then guide you through the process.

Option 2
Tap ‘%%mijnkbc%%’. Tap the insurance policy you want to use. You can now file your claim.

Option 3
Tap ‘%%mijnkbc%%, scroll down and tap the ‘All contacts’ link. Next, tap ‘File and track a damage, theft or hospitalisation claim’.

Tap your avatar or profile picture in the top-left corner, tap ‘Settings’ and then ‘Account sequence in ‘My KBC’’. Check whether all of your accounts have been ticked.

A maximum of eight accounts are displayed in the ‘My KBC’ menu. If you have more than eight accounts, tap ‘Show all accounts’ to view them.

To sort how you see your accounts, tap and hold the three-bar icon and drag the tile.

Uncheck the box next to the account(s) you want to hide.

Go to ‘My KBC’ and tap the ‘Business’ tab at the top.

Go to ‘My KBC’ and scroll down to your contacts.

Go to ‘My KBC’ and scroll down to your contacts and tap the relevant agent to contact them.

Tap your avatar or profile picture in the top-left corner and scroll down to ‘Security and privacy’, tap ‘Powers of attorney’ and then the blue plus sign.

To grant a power of attorney for an insurance policy, tap ‘My KBC’, select the relevant policy and then tap the blue plus sign.

By tapping ‘Offer’.

Log in and then tap the blue dot in the bottom right-hand corner of the home page.

Tap the three dots to the left of the message.
