Why borrow money to buy a caravan, trailer or boat?
Life is too short to wait for the fun things, so why put them off?
Take out an instalment loan with us and start having fun now without
having to dip into your savings.
Loans you can take out
We offer loans for
caravans or mobile homes
trailers
boats
Fixed rate
The rate on your loan stays the same for the entire term, so you
repay the same amount every month with no unwelcome surprises.
When you take out your loan, we give you an overview of what you'll
pay off each month for the entire term of the loan. That way, you can
check how much you still have to pay and for how long. You can keep
track of your loan easily using KBC Brussels Touch or
KBC Brussels Mobile.
No invoices required
There's no need to submit any invoices to borrow for a caravan,
mobile home, trailer or boat. You decide how much you want to borrow.
If you’d rather pay part of the purchase price yourself we'll simply
finance the rest. Or you can borrow more to cover the cost of extra
accessories, like a towbar.
If you already bank with us, you don't even have to leave the
comfort of your own home to apply for a loan. Applications for loans
of up to 50,000 euros can be done completely online. If you need to
borrow more than that, we’ll be pleased to help you at one of our branches.
Choose the right term
The best term for you will depend on how much you want to borrow and
how much you can spare each month. The longer the term, the less
you'll have to repay each month and the easier it will be to pay off
your loan. The shorter the term of your loan, the more you'll have to
repay each month but you'll pay it off sooner and consequently pay
less interest. At KBC Brussels, the choice is in your hands.
There are a few legal limits that apply to the term of a loan: these
are automatically built into the car loan calculator.

Since a new vehicle quickly depreciates in value, our advice is not
to take too long to repay your loan. If you incur a claim or – worse
still – a total loss, losing your vehicle entirely, bear in mind that
you still have to keep paying off your loan. At KBC Brussels, we offer
special insurance to limit that risk for certain types of vehicles
like a caravan.
Disbursement of your loan
We will disburse your loan
within two months of you taking it out
onto a
specified account or joint account in your name
without you
needing to submit proof of investment
When do you start repaying your loan?
You start making your loan repayments one month after the loan is
paid to you. All subsequent monthly repayments will take place on the
same day of the month as the initial repayment.
Example
So,
if for example your loan is made available on 25 March, then your loan
repayments start on 25 April, with remaining repayments scheduled for
the 25th of every month.
Repayment account
You pay off your loan via a KBC Brussels current account or the contract
number of your loan (i.e. an account into which you can pay the
relevant amounts).
Not just for KBC Brussels clients
You don't need to have a current account with us to apply for a loan.
To work out and apply for an instalment loan, simply go to our
website. However, if you're already with us, calculate your
personal rate in KBC Brussels Touch.

KBC uses cookies to make your online experience more convenient and to better align the content of our websites and applications with your needs and preferences.
You can refuse to allow the installation of cookies, but some parts our websites and applications will not function optimally as a result. If you continue browsing a KBC website, log into a KBC app or click on 'Yes, I accept cookies', then you consent to the use of cookies in conformity with this cookie statement. 1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are installed on your computer, smartphone or tablet when you visit a website or use an application.
Different types of cookies ensure that you can be recognised for various purposes, e.g. storing your language preference in order to make your visit to our websites more convenient. Thus you need not select your language each time you visit. Other cookies are anonymous and collect information on how visitors use a website or application.
When we mention “cookies” in this document, then we are talking about cookies and comparable technologies. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is an example of such technology. This is used to accomplish the same goals in applications as with cookies for browsers.
2. What types of cookies are there?
KBC distinguishes between 3 types of cookies. You will find a list of all the specific cookies that KBC uses in point 8 .
Essential cookies are required for the operation of our websites and applications. These cookies are necessary for verifying your identity when you log in, for example.
Analysis cookies are anonymous cookies that collect information about the way visitors use our websites and applications (pages visited, average duration of visit, ...) to improve the operation of the sites and the applications in general.
KBC also uses a variety of other non-anonymous cookies to register your preferences or behaviour for various purposes:
Functionality cookies make browsing more convenient, such as by remembering your language preference, for example
Advertising and personalisation cookies collect information about your browsing habits with the aim of offering you advertising or content that falls within your sphere of interest
Tracking cookies are used to track your browsing behaviour on one or more websites
Social Media cookies are used to share information with social media parties such as Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn
A cookie can have multiple purposes.
3. How long do cookies remain?
Temporary cookies are temporarily stored in your browser or application. As soon as you close your browser or application, these cookies are automatically deleted.
Permanent cookies remain on your computer, tablet or smartphone, even after you close the browser or application. Permanent cookies make it possible to recognise you during a subsequent visit to the website. They remain on your device until their expiration date is reached, a new version of the cookie is installed, or you delete them manually.
4. Who installs and manages cookies?
First-party cookies are installed and managed by KBC. They are specific to the KBC website that is visited or the KBC application that is used.
Third-party cookies are installed and managed by a third party. They are installed during your visit to a KBC website or use of a KBC application. They ensure that your visit to the KBC website or application results in certain information being sent to third parties.
5. What about your privacy?
The KBC privacy statement contains more information about the KBC privacy policy. This contains information about your rights if and when KBC processes your personal data during the use of cookies, for example.
If KBC uses third-party cookies (please refer to point 4), then KBC ensures that third parties cannot identify you from the data that is stored in those cookies.
Already a KBC client? Then we can link your KBC cookies to your personal data in our systems in a secure manner. KBC only does this with your permission.
6. What is the impact of your cookie preference?
If you select a preference on a kbc.be website domain, then this preference applies to all websites with “kbc.be” in the address (e.g. www.kbc.be/ondernemen/en.html, privatebanking.kbc.be/en). There is a separate choice for all cbc.be and kbcbrussels.be. website domains. If you use multiple browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome) then you must select a preference for each browser separately.
You can select your cookie preference in the KBC applications: KBC Mobile, KBC Business, KBC Assist. Your preference only applies to the application in which you select the preference.
7. How can you amend your cookie preference?

You can disable third-party SDKs in the KBC applications by clicking on “No, I refuse cookies”.
